PROUDLY presented by Windsor Essex Pride Fest!
Get set to "SLAM” HOMOPHOBIA, TRANSPHOBIA AND BIPHOBIA at the return of the popular event “SLAM-A-PHOBIA”!
“SLAM-A-PHOBIA” is a mish-mash of spoken word, performance, storytelling and art - and the popular event returns to Walkerville Brewery on The International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia on Tuesday May 17 at 7 p.m.
The event is FREE - but there will be a pass-the-hat collection mid-evening to benefit the George Hannah Red Scholarship at St. Clair College.
Fun, informative, heart-wrenching, and sometimes hilarious – “SLAM-A-PHOBIA” explores perspectives and thoughts on the impact homo/bi/trans-phobia has had on all of us.
It's a fun, lively night, a roller coaster of emotion and never ceases to be a fascinating exploration of this city's perspective on our small, but mighty LGBTTIQ2 community.
The event will be hosted by event founder and radio personality Dan MacDonald and stand-up comic Mel Lucier!
“SLAM-A-PHOBIA” takes place Tuesday May 17th at 7:00 p.m. at Walkerville Brewery – 525 Argyle Road.
